Meet Analeh
Ana Alfaro is well known as the producer and host of El Show de Analeh, a weekly program on the Univision Network and UniMas. Ana describes El Show as “a dream production turned into a successful reality.” Since 2007 the program has informed and entertained the diverse Latino community in Connecticut and Western Massachusetts. It airs Saturdays at 11:00 on Univision’s local channels. The show’s partnership with Capital Community College and Univision allows the production team to share its creativity, passion, and vision for the empowerment and engagement of the community through the art of television.
Ana also serves as Corporate Relations and Hispanic Media Relations Senior Specialist at Eversource Energy, New England’s largest energy delivery company. She has over 25 years of diverse experience in various aspects of public, media, and community relations,
event management, and television production. In her current position she manages the company’s volunteer engagement opportunities and employee giving programs.
Ana is truly a champion for volunteerism, she presently serves as a volunteer in various non-profit organizations - Charter Oak Cultural Center, Capital Community College Foundation, Community Economic Development Fund (CEDF), Hartford Economic Development Corporation (HEDCo), Hartford Public Library, Immigrant Heritage Hall of Fame. She is past board member of The Artists Collective, Billings Forge, Broad Park Development Corp., Catholic Charities, Conference of Churches, Greater Hartford Chamber of Commerce, First Night Hartford, Hartford Behavioral Health, Hockanum Valley and Village for Families. She also served as a member of the Governor M. Jodi Rell Parole and Sentencing Task Force.

A native of Honduras, Ana is the proud mother of Bobby and Bianca. Production Team
Capital Community College Academic Media Technology Staff and Student
Students taking the “Television Production” course as part of the Communication Media program at Capital Community College gain experience as studio production crew for El Show De Analeh. The students serve as floor manager, technical director, audio technician, teleprompter and camera operators. Some CCC alumni have stayed on to work in field production and editing for the show.
